1.Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, scheduling a pickup, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2.Our services
CLEAVO provides laundry and dry-cleaning services including wash & fold, wash & iron, dry cleaning, steam ironing and cleaning of home textiles, with doorstep pickup and delivery. Service availability depends on your location and may change from time to time.
3.Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your name, address and phone number.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.
4.Pickup & delivery
- You agree to be available (or to make items available) at the address and time slot you select.
- If a pickup or delivery fails because no one is available, additional attempts may be charged or rescheduled.
- Estimated turnaround times (e.g. 24–48 hours) are indicative and may vary with order volume, weather or item type.
- At pickup, item counts are recorded. Please verify them; the recorded count is treated as final once collected.
5.Pricing & payment
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and are displayed before you confirm an order.
- Final charges may differ from estimates based on actual weight, item count or service selected.
- Payment is collected through our approved payment partners. You authorise us to charge the applicable amount for each order or subscription.
- Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
6.Subscriptions & plans
- Membership plans renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel a plan at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current cycle unless required by law.
- Unused pickups or benefits do not carry over to the next cycle unless stated otherwise.
7.Your responsibilities
- Empty all pockets and remove valuables, cash, jewellery and personal items before handing over your laundry. CLEAVO is not responsible for items left inside garments.
- Inform us of any delicate, designer, hand-wash-only or specially treated items at the time of booking.
- Some fabrics, stains, prints or pre-existing damage may not respond to cleaning; results cannot be guaranteed for such items.
8.Care, loss & damage
We handle every order with care and track items from pickup to delivery. However, in the rare event that an item is lost or damaged due to our fault:
- You must report the issue within [48] hours of delivery, with order details and photos where relevant.
- Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to [10] times the cleaning charge of that item or its depreciated value, whichever is lower, up to a reasonable cap.
- We are not liable for normal wear and tear, colour fading, shrinkage, or damage inherent to the fabric or to manufacturer care-label limitations.
9.Unclaimed items
If an order cannot be delivered after reasonable attempts and remains unclaimed for [90] days, we may dispose of or donate the items without further liability, after attempting to contact you.
10.Cancellations & refunds
- You may cancel an order free of charge before pickup. Once items are collected or processing has begun, cancellation may not be possible.
- Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time.
- Service-quality concerns will be reviewed case by case and may be resolved by re-cleaning or partial credit at our discretion.
11.Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services, including submitting hazardous, illegal, or heavily contaminated items, attempting to defraud us, or interfering with the operation of our website or app.
12.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLEAVO is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited as described in Section 8.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [New Delhi / your city].
